Jay Middaugh - Writer / Director

Jay Middaugh was born, like so many others, just outside of Toronto, but was lucky enough to mostly grow up in Muskoka, where he learned to build snow forts, play music, and make movies. He met his wife Sienna while tree planting, and moved to Kingston in 2003. Jay runs Happy Kid Productions and Sleeping Giant School of Music, coaches youth basketball, and tries to keep track of his daughter and two sons.

Greg Tilson - Supervising Producer

Greg Tilson is a community organizer in Kingston, specializing in cultural programming.  He is currently the Artistic Director of the Skeleton Park Arts Festival, a year-round charitable organization that coordinates neighbourhood arts projects including music, film, dance, visual and literary arts.

Matt Rogalsky - Live Music Recording

Matt Rogalsky works in sonic arts, with a focus on live electroacoustic music performance, intermedia installation, and study of late-20th century live electronic music works by other composers. He is also known for his sound recording and production with a wide range of artists under the name Memory Device, including several Juno and Polaris Prize nominated albums. As a sound designer and mix engineer, he has recently worked with experimental filmmaker Gary Kibbins and installation artist Lynne Marsh. He is part of the collective which annually produces Kingston’s Tone Deaf Festival of adventurous sound performance, and is the Director of the Sonic Arts Studio in the Dan School of Drama and Music at Queen’s University in Kingston Ontario.

Mariah Horner - Producer

Mariah Horner is a theatre creator and producer based in Kingston, Ontario. Selected credits include: assistant directing Behaviour (SWS/GCTC), assistant directing Butcher (Theatre Kingston 2018); assistant directing The Revolutions (SpiderWebShow 2017); and directing girls!girls!girls! (Cart Before the Horse/TACTICS 2017). She was the director of Kingston’s Storefront Fringe Festival from 2016-18 and the inaugural winner of the Patrick Conner Theatre Ticket Award. She is an associate producer with SpiderWebShow and produces digital content for foldA (festival of live digital Art). Co-founding site-specific theatre company Cellar Door Project in 2013, Mariah has since produced fourteen new works in Ottawa and Kingston in cemeteries, record stores, bars, parks and the Diefenbunker.  Mariah played Kate Unger in George F. Walker’s HBO Canada Series Living in Your Car and recently graduated from uOttawa with an MA in Theatre Theory & Dramaturgy.

Josh Lyon - Producer

Josh Lyon is a filmmaker based in Kingston, Ontario and is the creative force behind AKAFLK Productions. He has directed, shot and edited over a hundred short films & micro-documentaries, and his work has been featured on CBC’s ZeD and screened at Film Festivals in KingstonToronto, and Adelaide, Australia. He has produced, directed and animated music videos for bands such as Rock Plaza CentralColin Munroe, Danielle Lennon, and folk duo Dala. Josh currently teaches in the Music & Digital Media program at St. Lawrence College.

Shaun Weima - Score Composer

Shaun Weima, originally from Kingston, has been teaching music for the last 8 years at various schools in the Kingston area.  Shaun has performed with a number of Kingston bands, including Ianspotting, The Swampward Orchestra, and Hoppipolla. He has released a dozen albums and has experience in producing and recording albums for himself and different artists around town.
